According to the BBC, HP announced that it will release two high-end 3D printers, which are said to print 10 times faster than similar products and cost less. Hewlett-Packard also said that the company's multi-Jet Fusion technology will enable 3D printers to create "super quality" prototypes. One expert said HP's innovative technology could revolutionize the printing industry.

Currently, HP 3D printers can only be printed in one color and one material, which results in limited appeal. But HP wants to challenge Stratasys and 3D Systems, both of which are leaders in the 3D printing industry.

Joe Kempton, an analyst at the technical consultancy Canalys, said: "HP printers can produce high-resolution parts at a lower cost and at a higher speed, which is more competitive. HP technology is a huge advancement and will become a game change. Currently, HP's competitors can use a wider range of materials and can use multiple colors, but in the long run, HP will close the gap."

Unlike other high-end 3D printers, HP's technology does not use laser processing of printed materials. Instead, a thin layer of powder is laid before the introduction of the chemical fusion material using a thermal "inkjet" array. This separates the objects printed by HP until the objects are all completed.

HP says its printer can print 340 million dots per second. But the shortcoming is that this 3D printer can only be used to print monochrome thermoplastic products. Other printers can use metal, plastic, wax, and other materials to print models, and sometimes even mix different materials to print different color models.

HP's entry-level 3D printer is the Jet Fusion 3D 3200, which is about the same size as a washing machine. The printer will be available for sale next year for $130,000. HP sees it as a printer that specializes in printing prototypes. The price of another high-end 3D printer, the Jet Fusion 3D 4200, has not yet been announced, but it is aimed at users who want to achieve small-scale production on the same day.

Stephen Nigro, head of HP's imaging and printing business, said HP hopes to use 3D printers from specialized print prototypes to make products. He said that in the future, printers will also be able to make ceramic products and color products.

Although the demand for 3D printers is increasing, they are still in the category of niche products. According to data released by market research firm Gartner, a total of 245,000 3D printers were sold in 2015, and sales are expected to increase to 5.6 million units in 2019. But this growth is mainly driven by the growth of 3D printers worth less than $2,500.

Hewlett-Packard announced its entry into the 3D printing market in 2014, but said it did not want to release products that did not have significant market advantages. "The competitors have to spend a lot of time trying, adopting, and improving their research, but in terms of printing speed and cost, the current market is not comparable to HP printers," said Kampton, an analyst at the technical consultancy Canalys. The product."
